|All that, was under water not too long ago|
Rainbow Power Bait, plain, with garlic, with sweet corn, with anise.
Pink Power Bait, plain and with garlic.
Red and white Power Eggs.
Kastmasters in various colors.
I even sunk to putting Pautzke's Balls of Fire salmon eggs under a bobber.
And the answer...............
A little take on Edwin Starr's song:
Silver Lake, huh, yeah, what is it good for? Absolutely nothing.
Looks like more miles to catch any fish.
Oh Noes! Did the lake get fished out?ReplyDelete
I would say that the stocked fish that didn't get caught have dispersed far and wide. It's a huge lake and I'm sure there are still fish in it, you'll just have to find them. Probably take a boat, which I don't have.Delete
I started out toward Silver, too, this morning. Ascending half the way on Hwy 88 something wise inside told me not to go. I made an U-turn and ended up at Jackson Rancheria Casino. I walked out richer an hour later. Wanna join me?ReplyDelete
Silver Lake or the casino? No more fishing until our trip next week and I don't gamble.Delete
Keep scratchin', buddy, I am counting on you to have a good Fall fishing season. How is the fire doing? Hope it didn't change directions.ReplyDelete
The fire kept going North and East not in our direction. Since we don't hear about it on the news anymore, I'm assuming it's out or nearly out.Delete
Do you ever need an umbrella with that chair, or you out of there when the sun sets in? Heard a report on the news yesterday about skin cancer on the rise--long sleeves, long pants and hat for me now
Hi Bill. T-shirt, long pants, bucket hat, and sunscreen on all exposed areas. After the ear, don't want any more.Delete
Oh man, Silver lake is usually produces too! that's not good! I'm sure you'll find them though!ReplyDelete
