A Package In The Mail

The River Damsel did a post on Yellowstone National Park a couple Sunday's ago. There was some interesting facts and since I've only been there once in my life, I made a comment about passing through the park so fast that I didn't even get to see Old Faithful.

Somewhere in that post I guess there was a contest because she said I won. The prize was a dozen of RD's special cookies. Now I've heard about these cookies from many of you fellow bloggers and have always wanted to try them.

Well, yesterday a package showed up and inside was not only a dozen of RD's (I'm guessing and Emily please correct me if I'm wrong) chocolate chip/butterscotch chip cookies as well as a small loaf of Ginger Bread "cake".

You'll notice that there are only 11 cookies on the plate. Before I could even get a picture, my wife absconded with one cookie. My wife, who owns a good portion of King Arthur Flour (as many supplies as she buys from there, one would think she owns part of it) has pronounced the cookies awesome. Since I took this picture this morning, I'll wait until I get back from fishing today to savor both.

Thank you Emily for the goodies. I'll do my report at the beginning of the post later today.

Stay tuned.

  1. Oh good. Glad you got them. If they got hard during their travels, just stick in the microwave for 30 sec!
