Quick story... I used to buy sporting goods for a living and visited the factory in Utah where Lifetime molded their plastics. They made everything from table tops to driveway basketball courts to playground equipment. It's amazing watching things like that be made.
Looking forward to seeing how you like them, Mark! Don't forget to make some sort of tether for your fishing gear, and a small trout net will save the day in the help of handling fish while you're also handling your paddle and rod.
Thanks Justin. I have the net from fly fishing that clips to the kayak. I also have tethers for the rods (learned that one in the float tube) and tethers for the paddles. Got them for the inflate-a-yak.
Looks like they would be hard to fall out of!
ReplyDeleteThe seemed to be the most stable at 31" wide.
DeleteNice. They look pretty stable.
ReplyDeleteAre you going to fish from them, or are they for touring.
